  • SaveLIFE Foundation (SLF) is an independent non-profit organization focused on improving road safety and emergency medical care across India through high-impact and strategic interventions at the policy as well as grassroots level.
  • In the recent past, SLF has secured protection for Good Samaritans who help injured persons, from ensuing legal and procedural hassles; convinced Government of India to draft and introduce a comprehensive road safety law for India; ensured ban on trucks from carrying protruding rods; trained over 9000 Police personnel to rescue and revive injured persons on the road and got two Private Member Bills introduced in the Parliament.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Develop, plan and lead the execution of Zero Fatality Corridor projects, a unique initiative to create fatality-free stretches of roads across India;
  • Spearhead all CSR and grant related projects from conceptualizing to planning to execution. Examples of projects and initiatives can be found on the SLF website;
  • Identify hiring needs and work closely with HR manager to fill the open positions;
  • Identify potential partners who can join, support and amplify SaveLIFE Foundation's on-ground efforts;
  • Spearhead thought process of innovative solutions through a collaborative effort and lead its development and on-ground activation;
  • Develop and execute a sustainable strategy for engaging and retaining all partners;
  • Identify potential funders for the organization and work closely with the CEO to pursue them for wider financial support for the organization. This includes researching potential funders, drafting or overseeing drafting of proposals and letters for them, and developing and executing a donor retention strategy;
  • Represent the organization at external events, conferences and workshops;
  • Develop and implement a robust Monitoring & Evaluation mechanism for measuring impact of SLF’s initiatives;
  • Engage with government officials across all levels at the Centre as well as the States to augment execution of initiatives

 

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in business, law, public policy or social service from a top tier institution preferred

 

Minimum Experience
  • 8+ years of work experience in project and partnership management. Experience with CSR projects highly preferred. Entrepreneurial experience will be a plus point.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Hindi and English. Knowledge of Marathi will be a plus point.

  • Proven project management skills across a wide range of areas including advocacy and communication;
  • Strong ability to manage diverse teams;
  • Strong ability to cultivate and manage partnerships with multiple stakeholders across business, government and non-profit sectors;
  • Strong understanding of the functioning of business, government and the non-profit sectors in India;
  • Strong ability to manage vendors and project partners in an unbiased and professional manner;
  • Strong eye for detail;
  • Willingness to travel across India and internationally
