Desired Job Profile
  • CORO India seeks a Documentation Coordinartor for CORO's Women Empowerment Programme.  The WEP Documentation Coordinator will undertake/ assist/ facilitate in writing about program achievements/ initiatives/ activities, prepare reports for donors/stakeholders, document success stories/case-studies and document processes.
  • CORO (Committee of Resource Organisations), established in 1989, works for empowerment of marginalized community people adopting the constitutional entitlement based development approach. Women Empowerment is one of our flagship programmes, working in Mumbai, Nashik, and Ahmednagar. CORO’s ‘Unique Demonstrative Proposition’ (UDP) over the last two decades has been about facilitating leadership from within marginalized community, especially from within women and youth. Strategically, CORO evolved from an implementing organisation to an organisation equipped with expertise in training, intervention research and participatory communication.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Gather content from the Program Team and prepare the Annual Report
  • Identify important achievements, good practices/innovations, and Case stories
  • Translating different materials/reports submitted by field/program staff in to English.
  • Administer & Manage social media pages – facebook, twitter, youtube
  • Prepare summarized presentations and analysis-documents from statistics provided by program teams.
  • Write and edit programmatic reports on activities including Quarterly reports etc
  • Assist in conducting research for Program teams and summarize researched observations, translate, prepare research reports for dissemination, further advocacy.
  • Working closely with fundraising and communication persons in producing collaterals, website and social media posts for funding and advocacy.
  • Satisfy requirements from donors from time to time or support program team for the same.
  • Support in module development and booklets publications of research reports and training materials.
Qualifications
  • Graduation in any stream
  • 2+ years of experience in communication/writing preferably with NGOs
  • Must be a local candidate from Mumbai.
  • Preference will be given to female candidates.
Minimum Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in communication/writing preferably in social sector.
Skills
  • Must be proficient in MS Office, and must have excellent command of Word and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to manage social media like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, MS Publisher, Canva, and other graphic design software is highly desired. 
  • Ability to think creatively coupled with excellent writing skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, Hindi, and Marathi is highly desired.

Communication and people’s skills – ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team.
