About Children Activity Centre (CAC):
  • The activity center, which started in 2011, implements GrowBy Reading (GBR) program, Art & Dance.
About Young Artist Program:
  • It lays the foundation to generate tomorrow’s contemporary visual artists.  The program uses classroom based curriculum along with workshops, conversations with new age artists and exposure visits to art galleries that broadens the students understanding of art as mere hobby class to a viable career option


Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Follow and teach elementary and intermediate drawing grade curriculum as prescribed by Maharashtra Directorate of Art
  • Instruct students in proper care and use of  art supplies
  • Prepare and encourage students  to undertake the government  grade examination
  • Conduct regular meetings with parents to broaden their understanding of art and impart knowledge of employment options in creative fields 
  • Prepares lesson plans and establishes course goals.
  • Accompany students on field trips to museums or art galleries.
  • Plan and present art displays and exhibitions designed to exhibit students’ work in the community.
  • Facilitate workshops on various mediums of art with external resource personnel
  • Facilitate participation of students in external drawing/art competitions
  • Regular online reporting to map the progress of the students
  • Attend monthly meetings to update progress and troubleshoot problems. 
  • Actively support and participate in any other activity/event of the organization.
Minimum Experience


  • Should have passion for art and children
  • Certification from a recognized institute 
  • Previous experience of teaching drawing will be added advantage. 
  • Good communication skills 
  • Functional computer knowledge
