Desired Job Profile
  • This position will support the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) across all program areas and the implementation of the organisational monitoring and evaluation strategy. This will include process and tools development, data collection and analyses and reporting.
Tasks and Responsibilities

The person will be responsible for :

  • Analyzing reported data, evaluation of projects/programs and suggesting corrective measures
  • Providing technical support to the concerned staff in the field on data collection, understanding of formats and tools, recording and reporting methods
  • Work closely with the Research Director in designing research studies, collecting data and analyzing the findings.
  • Traveling to the field regularly to collect and validate the data and share feedback on the same with the field teams
  • Ensure monthly reports from all Project offices on the status of data capturing, data entering, and the quality of data
  • Preparing reports (Half Yearly Report, Annual Report, Monitoring and Evaluation Report/s, etc.) that would guide organizational decision making and program implementation

 

Qualifications
  • Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences, preferably, with Statistics / Mathematics as a major subject
  • Overall experience of 2-3 years in M&E/program coordination

 

Minimum Experience
  • 2-3 years experience as a Monitoring & Evaluation person in an NGO having multiple projects
  • The candidate must have good understanding of monitoring and evaluation practices, principles, current trends as well as android based data collection tools
Skills
  • Experience in developing tools, records and reports and tracking data over a multi-year period
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
  • Knowledge and experience in using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), CS-Pro, Microsoft Excel.
