We address two of the most prevalent and difficult forms of abuse - Domestic Violence and Trafficking of young girls for sexual exploitation. We are currently active in 4 states - West Bengal, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka.
About the role:
  • While we create awareness about trafficking through our 2-day Safe Village Program (SVP), we felt a need to sustain that knowledge and awareness. To meet this requirement, we have conceptualized a new program titled “Rakshak”. This program has been designed by ORA to ensure the safety of girls in each village after the Safe Village Program. Through this program, we will ensure that every village has a voluntary "resource person" who will be a silent guardian for the girls and women in the village.
