Desired Job Profile
 Purpose of role
  • The state head is one person office of NISA-DA Initiative in the state. S/he executes in the state all that the HO designs and desires. Excellent communication, PR, coordination, with reasonable marketing and leadership qualities.
  • The primary goal is to develop Alert, Informed, and Active citizenry through schools and stakeholders.   
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Executing and working closely with NISA and DA Head offices for the overall program/portfolio plan, delivery schedule, and resource allocations.
  • Executing close coordination with partner alliance and individual State Partner Schools for adding new schools and post sign up engagement.
  • Establishing and maintaining the relationship with partner schools and stakeholders.
  • Planning and scheduling new initiatives of Desh Apnayen with the partner school teachers.
  • Ensuring that all necessary components of the program plan are developed and approved by the Head office. 
  • Identifying SPOC in school and later scheduling dates for Teachers’ Orientation Program, and a meet for the DACC/C2C or both.
  • Tracking usage of DISHA on a weekly basis and follow up with schools for the feedback
  • Identifying more schools on the web, segregating them by geography, board, language (selected markets)
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and local regional language. 
  • Collating feedback from signing up to Annual Awards to track the time frame and effectiveness. 
  • Following up with schools and partner alliances for cluster TOP/SOP, DACC and C2C.
  • Collecting and collating Teachers’ Training feedback and sharing the same with Head office team. 
  • Taking responsibility for marketing and communication with schools and getting program feedback from partner schools. 
  • Working closely with Senior Program Manager and National Coordinator to secure necessary resources.
  • Serving as a key contact and communications point with the schools, partner associations, stakeholders, team, and technical liaisons throughout the program.
  • Scheduling meetings with school principals, school trustees and other decision makers for implementation.
  • Planning and executing all aspects of project management - including training, school outreach management, schedule management, communication management, event management and reporting. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's with 7+ years of work experience in institutional sales and operations 
Minimum Experience
  • Bachelor's with 7+ years of work experience in institutional sales and operations 
Skills
  • Proven ability to drive school programs and projects with collaborations.
  • Territory Management and establishes a network of schools.
  • Excellent judgment, decision-making skills, and the ability to work with deadline schedules.
  • Strong meeting facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communications.
  • School outreach experience is preferred.
  • On ground field experience is desirable.
  • IT Savvy - Proficient in Microsoft Office products –Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Passionate and keen to go the extra mile – without a “just another job” mind-set.
