Tasks and Responsibilities
Grants Management:
  • End to end grants management within CAF India for various grants in close coordination with business development department.
  • Managing all Programmes related to various projects in close coordination with the clientele (Corporates, HNIs, Trusts, Foundations etc.,) of CAF India
  • Ensuring that CAF’s grant making services and processes are transparent, effective and efficient and in line with best practice in the sector and meet the needs of CAF’s donors;
  • Managing grant-giving services, to be responsible for consultancy fees, invoicing and payments for services;
  • Ensuring effective delivery of CAF’s grant making Programmes with quality assurance;

Monitoring and Evaluation:
  • Creating and maintaining a comprehensive MIS on CAF India project grants, files and mandatory documents of the projects for audit purpose;
  • Instituting systems and processes to ensure monitoring of transactions, internal audits, handling donor complaints and managing risks;
  • Carry out field visit monitoring in coordination with finance as per the agreement with donor.
  • Coordinating, and as and when required, conducting field monitoring visits of all ongoing projects/ grants made to NGOs and ensuring compliances to field observations;
Capacity Building: 
  • Organizing capacity building workshops for NGOs in the area of governance, leadership, strategic planning, program and financial management, human resource management;
  • Developing close working relationships with NGO partners and stakeholders with matured handling of the relationships;
Donor Relations/Servicing:
  • Ensuring quality in donor proposals and reporting with particular emphasis on CAF India value added services while managing the projects;
  • Responsible for efficient and effective Donor Servicing of CAF India Donor and NGO partners;
  • Developing and managing donor relationships and ensuring effective and timely communication.
Growth and retention
  • Responsible for donor retention and ensuring growth in their support to CAF, particularly the grant size.
  • Any other activities as requested by the Head of Programmes.
  • MBA or Post Graduate in Development studies/Social sciences/Social Work from a reputed institute, preferably PMP trained.
Minimum Experience
  • Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in development sector programme management in addition to direct execution of projects in various sectors (Health, education, livelihood etc.,)
  • Hands on experience on grants management
  • Knowledge and experience of grants management in development sector (NGOs or INGOs).
  • Fundraising experience with various clientele including corporate but not restricting to it.
  • Candidates with good understanding of CSR and an experience of managing corporate CSR funded projects will be preferred.
  • Prior experience of working with corporates on programme management will be added advantage.
  • Experience in working in Corporate Foundation and in CSR projects will be preferred.
