We are looking out for a person who will carry out review of the financial reports of the grantees, make visits to the grantees, review the budgets submitted for the grant proposals, analyse the expenditure against the budgets, etc.
Specific tasks to be performed by the Manager will be as follows:
- For any new Grant/Proposal, in coordination with designated CSR Advisor(s), conduct an initial review/orientation of the Grant Sanction Letter and confirm that reporting requirements – both financial and programmatic – have been reported to the CSR advisors.
- Make visits to the grantees for review of the financial reports with the supporting documents.
- Prepare trip reports based on the grantees visits.
- Develop, update and ensure compliance with Grants Sanction Letter by the grantees for timely submission of all reports.
- Gather and share spending pattern analysis for grants.
- Working with the responsible CSR Advisor, link the Grants Management requirement with Annual work plans, Monitoring & Evaluation plans.
- Guide the grantees on the grants management in line with the start & end dates and institute system in managing the spending/accounting within the stipulated dates of the Grants i.e., no expenditure or invoice should be outside the dates other than the grants period.
- Monitor and have updated information to track the grantee’s expenditure, its timeline and its closure date.
- Prepare reports for (i) update on grants management; (ii) budget/expenditure status.
- Compliance of audit recommendations at the grantees level.
- Orient other staff in office on Project Based Funding mechanisms.
- Any other work assigned by AVP Finance.
All the above would be achieved through close communication, on the job support and regular field level monitoring at the grantee level – working closely with key grantee staff, CSR advisors and other staff in office.
Requirements
- B.Com/M.Com or MBA Finance with 5-6 years of similar experience.
- Experience in the development sector is essential.
- Ideal Age should be between 30-40 years.
- Good Knowledge of Computer and its application like MS Office.
- Good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Good interpersonal and team work skills.
- Good organizational skills.
Working conditions
The Manager – Grants will report to the AVP Finance of ICICI Foundation. The Position will be based at Mumbai.
